DAOM We are developing a 3D massive strategy Metamon game (
Temporary name: Metamon Kingdom DAOminance or DAOM for short). The new game will be competitive, fun, and, more importantly, adding value to the Metamon NFTs. Players will deposit their level 60 Metamons to participate in DAOM. In DAOM, Players form DAOs to clash with each other for control of territories. The concept of territories is about controlling resources with real economic value. For example, every fight of the original Metamon game can be designated to happen on a particular territory, and the overload of that territory can tax the profit of what players earn on that territory. This gives incentive for players to collaborate and form organizations, which requires a lot of socialization, to control territories as a lucrative business. Average and benevolent players may choose to peacefully "farm" in the Metamon game and pay the tax. Competitive players can earn additional income by becoming overlords. The income of the territory doesn't directly belong to a particular player but to the overlord DAO. It is the DAO's decision how the income is distributed. The DAO may choose to issue its own governance token to dictate the DAO’s treasury. The combat mechanic will be like Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (TABS). Players deploy Metamons they own to the battlefield but they do not directly control the Metamons. Like TABS, the battle outcomes are determined by many factors such as the number of each side, the quality of each Metamon, and the skills of each Metamon, randomness etc. Outside of the battlefield, there may be many interesting social interactions such as diplomacy, betrayal, backstabbing, sellout mercenaries, and long-lasting rivalries. Metamons will always be not only symbols of status but also a store of value that lasts the test of time.
